Saltlife Cottage
Saltlife Cottage is in Port William, right on the beach. You walk out the bottom of the garden and you're on the sand. The views from the upstairs living room are straight out over the bay.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was all done up a couple of years ago, so it's in good order. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. It's got Sky Q and WiFi, and those Alexa things in the rooms.
The stairs are a typical cottage spiral. Fine, but watch your step.
You're in the village itself. There's a shop about twenty seconds away. For a pub or a restaurant, you'd need to drive about ten miles. The beach is the main thing here.
If you want to explore, Wigtown, which is Scotland's book town, is about fifteen minutes by car. Bladnoch Distillery is a similar distance. The Galloway Forest Park is within half an hour for walking or cycling. The coast road towards the Mull of Galloway is very good.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair if needed, bedding and towels are included. The garden is yours. No pets, sorry.
