This is Killantrae Burn. It's in Port William, which is a small harbour village in Dumfriesshire. It's basically right on the harbour wall.
The layout is a bit different. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs on the ground floor. You go up a flight of stairs to the main living area, which is all open plan. That's where the kitchen, dining, and sitting room are. It means you get the view from up there. You can see the harbour from the windows.
It sleeps four, has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. You can bring up to two dogs.
The beach is about twenty yards away. It's sand and shingle. There's a shop about fifty yards from the door. The nearest pub is a bit further out, about ten miles, so you'd need to drive. There's a restaurant about eight miles away.
The area is good for walking the coast. The landscape is gentle hills and a long coastline. Galloway Forest Park isn't far if you want proper woods and lochs. There's golf nearby if that's your thing. The climate is milder here because of the Gulf Stream, so the gardens can be quite lush.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, which is good for evenings. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio area outside. Parking is on the street nearby.
