Craignair
Craignair is a bungalow in Port William. It's in a small fishing village right on the edge of Luce Bay. The view from the front is across the water, it's very open.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy. Everything is on the one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's warm, well kept and comfortable.
There's a living room with a wood burner for cooler evenings. Doors lead to a conservatory at the front where you can sit and look at the sea. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside there's a patio garden and parking on the drive.
The village has the basics. You're right on the coast for walking or fishing. For a bigger shop, Newton Stewart is about a 20 minute drive.
The area is good for outdoor things. The Galloway Forest Park is inland for walking and cycling, including the 7stanes mountain biking trails. There are golf courses nearby and the beaches along the Solway coast are sandy and often quiet.
