Craignair is a bungalow in Port William. It's a quiet place, right on the edge of the village looking out over Luce Bay. The view from the front is the main thing.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One bathroom has a walk-in shower with a grab rail, the other has a bath. Because it's all on one level, it's straightforward to get around.
The living room has a wood burner for cooler evenings. Doors open into a conservatory at the front. You'll probably sit in there a lot, just watching the sea. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking for one car on the drive.
Port William has a shop and a couple of pubs. It's a good spot for walking. You're on the Southern Upland Way here, so you can set off right from the door. The beach is shingle, but there are sandy beaches a short drive away. If you fish, you can try from the shore just across the road.
Within about half an hour's drive you can get to the Galloway Forest Park for walking or cycling on the 7stanes trails. Wigtown is the book town. Whithorn is an ancient priory site. Newton Stewart is the main town for bigger shops.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything's included: bedding, towels, electricity.
