Ervine Cottage
Ervine Cottage is in Morton Tinmouth, which is a small village near Bishop Auckland. It's a detached cottage in the owner's back garden. The garden is yours and it's fully enclosed. You look out over fields.
The cottage sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan and leads into a conservatory. That's a nice spot to sit.
Outside, there's a patio with a hot tub. The stairs are fine.
The cottage is on a working farm. That means you'll see tractors and livestock. It's something to be aware of if you have children with you.
There's Wi-Fi, but it's for basic browsing only. It's not for streaming films.
For things to do, you're in the middle of the countryside. There are walks from the door. Barnard Castle is a short drive away, with the Bowes Museum. High Force waterfall and Raby Castle are close too. You can get to Durham city in about half an hour. The North Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales are about thirty minutes away.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
