Ervine Cottage
Ervine Cottage is in Morton Tinmouth, near Bolam. It's a detached place in the countryside, behind our house. You look out over fields.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan and leads into a conservatory. That's a good spot to sit when the sun's out.
There's an enclosed patio garden with a table. It's secure if you have a dog, but we don't take pets, sorry.
A few practical things. The Wi-Fi works for checking emails or looking things up, but it's not for streaming films. We're on a working farm, so there are tractors and machinery about sometimes. Just something to be aware of if you have children with you.
You can walk straight from the door. For places to visit, Barnard Castle is close. The Bowes Museum is there. Raby Castle and High Force waterfall are within half an hour. Durham is about a 30 minute drive. The North York Moors and the coast, like Whitby, are just over an hour away.
Inside, there's a washing machine, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
