Freville Cottage is in Shildon. It's a terraced house. We've done it up so it's clean and works as a holiday place.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable but not luxurious. You can bring two dogs.
It's a five minute walk to the shop and the pub. The pub does food.
The big thing here is the Locomotion museum. It's part of the National Railway Museum. It's right in Shildon and it's free to get in. If you like trains, it's very good.
Bishop Auckland is about ten minutes away by car. The main thing there is Auckland Castle. It's got a big deer park you can walk in. There's a few cafes and shops there too.
Within half an hour you can get to a lot. Durham city is about twenty five minutes. The cathedral and castle are a World Heritage Site. Barnard Castle is about half an hour, that's where the Bowes Museum is. It looks like a French chateau. Beamish Museum is also around thirty minutes away. That's an open air museum, you can spend a whole day there.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are included. The electricity is in the price. There's on street parking right outside.
