Minsmere Cottage is a quaint two-bedroom cottage sleeping four, boasting desirable views of the tips of the Malvern hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. On the ground floor you have a cosy open plan sitting room and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a double suite with views onto the common and a twin bedroom with bunk beds, with views of the Malvern Hills.
The village of Poolbrook is famous for its open green common land. On your daily strolls you might see animals graze on the commons, usually its horses and riders that are often seen. Naturally this a great place to enjoy walking across the commons with or without your four-legged friends, with views of the hills. The village itself has a pretty church, a wonderful pub with outdoor seating, a convenience store and a rather nice coffee shop, which locals describe as ‘Continuously fabulous’ serving locally sourced and quality ingredients, a nice alternative for pub breakfast or lunch. A little beyond your wonderful abode and within a 4 minute drive is the Three Counties showground, hosting a number of events throughout the year including food festivals, concerts, winter glow and the well regarded RHS Malvern Spring Festival, be sure to check out their annual calendar to see what’s on during your stay. Whether you are looking for leisurely walks, scenic cycle routes or fabulous bridleways to hack the nearby Malvern Hills and nearby Wye Forest will not disappoint. The Victorian spa town of Malvern itself has an array of shops to explore including classic antique treasure troves and independent clothing boutiques. A wonderful selection of restaurants ranging from fine dining establishments, gastro pubs to casual eateries, traditional pubs to fancy wines bars perfect for some pre-show dining. The Malvern Theatre plays host to West End productions throughout the year, so be sure to usher yourself to a show or two.
