Campbell Lodge
Campbell Lodge is in South Hykeham, just outside Lincoln. It's a detached lodge set by a fishing lake. You get the lake view from the living area.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor. There's a sofa bed up on the mezzanine level in the living room if you need it, but it's really best for four. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is it's quiet. The park is peaceful. You've got your own private hot tub out the front, looking towards the lake. A golf course is right next door, and they have a bar and restaurant you can use.
Lincoln is about ten minutes away by car. The cathedral and castle are up on the hill. The cathedral is the main event, really. The Bailgate area around there has good pubs and restaurants.
If you're into antiques, Newark Showground is a ten-minute drive. They have big fairs. The Lincolnshire Showground is about fifteen minutes in the other direction for events.
For facilities, it's got everything you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if required. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
