Carp Cottage Doddington

Carp Cottage is one of four places here on our farm. It's semi-detached, and there's a locked connecting door between the two lodges next door if you've booked both. You're in Lincolnshire, near Doddington. It's quiet.

The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see tractors about. There are two fishing lakes on the grounds if you're into that. The main thing here is the shared indoor heated swimming pool. It's down by the other cottages.

You get a bit of garden to yourselves, there's parking right outside, and you've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. No dogs, sorry.

Lincoln is about five miles away. The cathedral is the big draw. You've got the castle and the Christmas market if you're here for it. It's a good day out. Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral have the details.

If you fancy a walk, there are some routes around here. Burton Waters marina has a few places to eat and is a short drive. The Newark showground is about 15 minutes away for events.
