Carp Cottage
Carp Cottage is in Doddington, Lincolnshire. It's on a working farm, ours. It's semi-detached, set in about twenty acres. You get a bit of garden to yourself.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's solid and clean. Nothing flashy. You'll have everything you need.
The main thing here is the fishing. There are two big lakes on the grounds, well-stocked. If you're into that, it's perfect. We also have a shared indoor heated swimming pool for guests. It's handy if the weather turns.
Lincoln is about five miles away. You've got the cathedral, the castle, the usual city things. The Visit Lincoln site has all the details. Newark showground is about a fifteen-minute drive, if antiques are your thing.
For a walk or a cycle, the area is pretty flat so it's good for that. Burton Waters marina is nearby if you want to look at boats and have a meal out.
In the cottage there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Parking is on site. No pets, I'm afraid.
