Victoria's Retreat
Victoria's Retreat is in Lincoln, near the top of the hill. It's actually two apartments next to each other, but you just get one for your stay. It's a five-star place, which means it's done up nicely inside. Sleeps four, two decent sized bedrooms, one bathroom.
You're right in the thick of it. Step out the door and you're on cobbled streets. The cathedral and castle are basically at the end of the road. The walk down to the shops and Brayford Wharf isn't far, but it's steep coming back up. That's just Lincoln.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a small enclosed patio out the back with a barbecue. Parking is on site, which is a big help around there.
For a day out, the International Bomber Command Centre is about ten minutes' drive. It's very well done. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour away for a proper countryside walk. Market Rasen racecourse is out that way too.
The place is not set up for pets. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
