Ida's Place is a terraced cottage in Lincoln. It's right at the top of the hill on the edge of the old town. It's about a ten-minute walk from the cathedral down Steep Hill.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with king-size beds. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works.
There's a small courtyard garden at the back. You get a couple of chairs and a table out there.
It's on a road, so you can park right outside if you find a space. There's also a pay-and-display car park just round the corner if you need it.
The kitchen has the basics, a dishwasher, and a washing machine is tucked away upstairs. Everything is on one level inside, so the front door and the rooms are wheelchair accessible. The bathroom has a step-free shower. Just be aware, the path to the front door has a slight slope.
We accept two well-behaved dogs. There's a charge for that.
For things to do, Lincoln Castle is right next to the cathedral. The museum on the waterfront is good for a wet day. You can walk along the river or out into the Wolds countryside from here in no time.
