Rasen Cottage is in Lincoln, up near the castle. It's a terraced cottage on a residential street. You have a small walled garden at the back, private to you. It gets the sun in the evening.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms, one family bathroom downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything's on the ground floor except the bedrooms.
You're about a five minute walk from the Bailgate area. That's where the castle, cathedral, and a lot of the independent shops and restaurants are. Steep Hill leads down to the rest of the city centre and the waterfront.
The cottage has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi. There is on-street parking, which is usually fine.
For days out, Lincoln Castle and Cathedral are obvious. The castle hosts events like the Christmas Market. The cathedral is worth seeing. The International Bomber Command Centre is on the outskirts of the city.
If you want to drive, the Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour north. It's good walking country. Market Rasen Racecourse is in that direction too. Newark and its showground are about a 40 minute drive south.
