Lepus Lodge
Lepus Lodge is a log cabin on our farm in South Carlton. It's just the one, not in a row. It looks out over a wildflower meadow.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about the fixtures and fittings being good quality. Because it's all on one level, there are no stairs to worry about.
It's a quiet spot. You'll see hares in the fields, which is where the name comes from. You're welcome to bring one dog. There's a patio with furniture, and you can use the tennis court we have on the farm if you fancy a game.
The nearest shop is in Welton, about three miles. The pub there is two and a half miles. It does food.
Lincoln is about seven miles away. That's where the cathedral and castle are. There are shops and restaurants there too.
For a day out, the coast is about an hour's drive. Doddington Hall is close, and Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest are within half an hour. The old RAF Scampton base is just down the road. The Lincolnshire Showground is right next to the farm, so it can get busy during event weeks.
What's here: There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included.
