The Retreat is in Nettleham village. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard.
The layout is the main thing to know. The kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor. The living room is upstairs. It's a bright, spacious room with reclining chairs and a TV. The bedroom and bathroom are also on the ground floor.
The garden is enclosed and private. It has a hot tub and an outdoor shower. There's parking on the drive and an electric vehicle charger.
The village centre is a two-minute walk. There are three pubs, cafes, and a Greek restaurant. You can get basic shopping done here. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Lincoln.
Lincoln is about five minutes away by car. The Cathedral Quarter is where you'll find the castle, the cathedral, and most of the shops and restaurants. Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle are the main sites.
If you want to get into the countryside, the Lincolnshire Wolds are a 15 to 20 minute drive. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walking and cycling. Market Rasen, which has a racecourse, is about 20 minutes north.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the living room is up a flight of stairs. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
