Aimmee's Lodge
Aimmee's Lodge is on our farm just outside Doddington. It's one of four holiday places here on site. There's a big garden and you've got your own bit of patio.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a nice place, clean and modern. There's parking right outside.
We're a working arable farm. You'll see tractors about sometimes. There are two fishing lakes on the grounds. You're welcome to have a go if you've got a license.
All the properties here share the indoor heated swimming pool. It's open for a few hours each day. You book slots.
Lincoln is five miles away. You should go see the cathedral and the castle. The Lincoln Cathedral website has opening times. The Christmas market is busy but good if you like that sort of thing.
The nearest shop is about three quarters of a mile. The closest pub is two miles. It does food. For a bigger day out, Newark Showground is about a 15 minute drive. They have antique fairs and other events. You can check what's on at the Newark Showground site.
There's some decent walking and cycling round here. Burton Waters marina is close. It's got a few restaurants and bars if you want something different.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book this lodge with the one next door. They connect through a locked door we can open.
