The Cherry Tree

The Cherry Tree is in Harby, Nottinghamshire. It's a detached house. Sleeps ten, five bedrooms. Three bathrooms.

It's got a 5 Star rating. Everything's new and works properly. It's built for big groups. There's a utility room for muddy boots and a washing machine. Parking for four cars on the gravel drive.

Inside, it's all one level downstairs. Open plan kitchen and dining area. The table seats ten easily. Kitchen has a Rangemaster, big fridge freezer, dishwasher. Kettle, toaster, usual stuff.

Living room has a big sofa and a wood burner. TV with the main streaming apps. Stable door from the kitchen leads out to the garden.

Upstairs: one superking bedroom with ensuite shower, one king bedroom with ensuite shower, one double, one twin room, and a bunk room. Main family bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Outside is a fully enclosed garden. Patio with furniture and a BBQ. There's a separate games room with a pool table and table tennis. It's down by the parking area.

Harby is a quiet village. There's an award-winning pub, The Barnstone, about a ten minute walk. They do food. There's a children's playground and some nice walks from the door, straight out into fields.

Useful places within about half an hour: Doddington Hall is nearby, good for gardens and their farm shop. Lincoln is about 25 minutes drive. You've got the cathedral and the castle there. Newark-on-Trent is also close, about 20 minutes. They've got a good market and the Civil War museum.

Further out, you can get to Sherwood Forest visitor centre in under 40 minutes. Or Belton House (National Trust) is about 45 minutes.

Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi works. No pets allowed.
