Mole Kerscott

The Mole is a semi-detached cottage here at our place in Kerscott, near Barnstaple. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4-star rating.

The main thing here is the fishing. The cottages are in the grounds of our fishing lakes. Two coarse fishing lakes are included if you'd like to try. If you don't fish, that's fine too. The cottage looks out over one of the lakes.

It's got its own enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking right by the cottage. Inside, it's all on one level which is handy. It's open plan. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We include the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them.

You can bring up to two dogs.

It's a quiet, rural spot. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away in the village.

For beaches, you've got Instow which is good for a walk and is about ten minutes in the car. The bigger surf beaches like Woolacombe and Saunton are about twenty-five minutes away. Barnstaple has all the shops and is only about five miles.

If you're looking for walks, the Tarka Trail is close by for cycling. Dartmoor is within half an hour for proper walking. For a day out, the RHS Garden at Rosemoor is nearby, or you could go to the historic village of Clovelly.
