Cider Cottage Clapworthy

Cider Cottage is in Clapworthy, which is near South Molton. It's a detached stone cottage next to our house. We rent out another one too, Ivy Cottage. You get your own garden and patio. It's quiet here, just fields and trees.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. There's a woodburner for colder nights. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.

You can bring one dog. There's a stairgate and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.

We've got a games room in a separate building that you share with the other cottage. It has a pool table and table tennis.

The nearest pub that does food is about two miles away. The closest shop is in South Molton, which is four miles. It's a proper market town with a good butcher and baker. Market days are Thursday and Saturday.

For the beach, Instow Sands is about a 25 minute drive. The bigger surfing beaches like Saunton, Croyde, and Woolacombe are within half an hour. Barnstaple and Bideford are good for a day out, about 20 and 30 minutes away respectively.

You're right on the edge of Exmoor. It's about a 15 minute drive to get into the proper park. Good for walking. The Tarka Trail is great for cycling, and you can hire bikes in Barnstaple.
