Cider Cottage Clapworthy

Cider Cottage is in Clapworthy. It's one of two cottages next to my house. The garden is yours to use. It's quiet out here, just fields and trees.

It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and does the job, but it's not fancy. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. You can bring one dog if you want.

The stairs are fairly steep. That's just how it is with these old places. There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. The games room is in a separate shed. It's got a pool table and some other things for a rainy day.

The local pub is about two miles away. They do food. The nearest shop is four miles, in South Molton. It's a proper little town with a market on Thursdays and Saturdays.

You're about half an hour from the north Devon coast. Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe have those big sandy beaches everyone likes. Instow is a bit closer and is good for families. Exmoor National Park is to the north, maybe a twenty minute drive. Great for walking.

Barnstaple is the main town for shopping. The National Trust places like Arlington Court are worth a visit if that's your thing. You can pick up the Tarka Trail there for cycling if you hire some bikes.

What's here: parking right outside, a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue in the garden.
