Conifers South Molton

Conifers is our place near South Molton. It's a big old Victorian farmhouse that's been split in two. We live in the main bit, you get the self-contained half.

It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The farm's 17 acres, all working land. The lane up to it is a steep country road, so take it slow when you arrive.

You get a third of an acre of garden at the side. There's a patio there. And we've added another garden area out the back now, which is just for guests. It's got a seating area, a table, a fire pit and BBQ, and looks out over the fields. Good sun trap.

The pub's a quarter of a mile walk down the lane. It serves food. South Molton town is two miles away. They've got a market and a honey farm. Barnstaple is about ten miles for bigger shops, restaurants, and a leisure centre.

You're right in the middle of things here for exploring. Exmoor is very close. The north Devon coast, like Ilfracombe, is about a 20 minute drive. Dartmoor is within an hour. There are some good beaches and valleys within half an hour. For gardens, Arlington Court is nearby. If you like walking, the Exmoor routes from Exmoor National Park are easy to get to.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Parking is right outside.
