Granary Cottage
Granary Cottage is in Clapworthy, near South Molton. It's one of two cottages here, next to our house. The setting is rural. You get your own patio area.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so comfortable and clean. It's not luxurious. There's a games room in the outbuilding with a pool table and table tennis. It's handy if the weather turns.
The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right by the cottage. Sorry, no pets.
The local pub is about two miles away. They do food. A shop and restaurant is four miles, in the town. South Molton is a typical Devon market town. It's quiet. The market is on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The beach at Instow is about half an hour's drive. For surfing, you want to go to Croyde or Woolacombe, which is a bit further. Barnstaple is the main town in the area. From Bideford quay you can get a boat over to Lundy Island.
Exmoor National Park starts about twenty minutes north. It's good walking country. The Tarka Trail is great for cycling. You can hire bikes in Barnstaple.
