Grace Cottage is in Umberleigh, North Devon. It's the end cottage of a small row. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are steep. It's not ideal for anyone with very limited mobility, as there's a small step up into the property and those stairs.
There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave you some logs to get started. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
You're welcome to use the garden. It's shared with us, as we live next door, but it's big. We're usually around if you need anything, but we leave you to it.
There's a village shop about five minutes' walk away. The local pub, the Rising Sun, is a couple of minutes further on. They do food.
For days out, the Tarka Trail is right there for walking or cycling. The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Westward Ho! has a long sandy beach. For something quieter, try Instow.
Barnstaple is ten minutes by car. That's where you'll find the big supermarkets, a cinema, and most shops. For a proper day trip, Exmoor is about half an hour east. Dartmoor is a bit further, maybe an hour.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
