Kingfisher Kerscott

Kingfisher is a single-storey, detached cottage on the edge of our fishing lakes in Kerscott. It's quiet here. You'll be facing one of the lakes, so you get that view from the garden.

It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Being all on one level, there are no stairs to worry about.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs or if you have children. You get your own patio area out there. The two coarse fishing lakes are included if you want to fish. If you don't, it's just a nice place to sit and look at the water.

For amenities, there's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away in the village. Barnstaple is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. You can get everything you need there.

For the coast, Instow beach is the closest, about fifteen minutes away. It's sandy and good for a walk. The bigger surfing beaches like Woolacombe and Saunton are about half an hour's drive. There's good walking on the Tarka Trail nearby, or you can drive onto Dartmoor in under forty minutes.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside the cottage.
