The Lodge is in Kerscott, about fifteen minutes drive from Barnstaple. It's a two-bedroom place, sleeps four. There's one bathroom.
It's part of a small group of cottages on a fishing site. You have your own enclosed garden. The main view is over the fishing lakes. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable.
The two coarse fishing lakes on site are included if you want to fish. You don't have to.
For beaches, Instow is the closest. It's sandy and sheltered, good for a walk. The bigger surf beaches like Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are about a twenty-five minute drive.
Barnstaple has the big supermarkets and shops. There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile and a half away.
If you want days out, the Tarka Trail is good for cycling. You can hire bikes in Barnstaple. Dartmoor is about half an hour's drive for walking. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is nearby. The National Trust has a few properties in the area, like Arlington Court.
What's here: the place has a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. You can bring two dogs.
