The Lodge Kerscott

The Lodge is one of three cottages here at Riverton, which is a fishing venue near Kerscott. It's a two-storey cottage, sleeps four. There's two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.

You get your own enclosed garden with a patio area. It looks out over the grounds and the fishing lakes. The view is nice. If you're booking to fish, the use of the two coarse lakes is included. There's a third lake as well.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if required. Parking is right outside.

We allow up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which helps.

The local shop and pub is about a mile and a half away in the village. Barnstaple isn't far either, maybe a ten minute drive, for bigger shops.

The coast is close. Instow beach is about ten minutes by car. It's sandy and good for a walk. For bigger beaches, Woolacombe and Saunton are within half an hour. They're very good.

If you're not fishing, the Tarka Trail is nearby for walking or cycling. Dartmoor is about forty minutes drive for more serious walks. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is a twenty minute drive and is worth a visit.
