Eastacombe is in Atherington. It's a detached cottage that was completely redone a couple of years ago. It sleeps ten, which is a lot of people, so it works for families or groups. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, so no big queues in the morning.
The rating is 5 Star. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. The main living area is open plan and quite big, with a large kitchen and breakfast bar. There's also a separate snug room with a wood burner at the front if you want a quieter space.
Outside, there's a patio and garden with a built-in barbecue and pizza oven. There's a hot tub. There's also a games room with pool, table tennis, table football, and a dart board.
Practical things: it's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. Wifi, bedding, towels, and electricity are all included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local pub is just down the road on the A377. Libbaton Golf Club is about three miles away in High Bickington.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Barnstaple is eight miles away for shops, cafes, a cinema, and a leisure centre with a pool. Both Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks are within a 30 minute drive. The north Devon coast with beaches like Saunton, Woolacombe, and Croyde is about half an hour away. Exeter is about an hour's drive south.
