Famed for its magnificent scenery and rugged coastline, North Wales hosts an enchanting cocktail of golden beaches, traditional villages and dramatic landscape. Nearby, the small and charming town of Nefyn is less than 2 miles away from the cottage, where you’ll find traditional Welsh pubs, independent gift shops and a large sweeping bay with golden beach. Also nearby is the famous Ty Coch Inn which is listed as one of the top ten beach bars in the world. The larger towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch are also within easy reach.
For those looking for more of an adventure, why not take a scenic drive to the Wales’ highest mountain, Snowdon, and enjoy its imposing landscapes, wild terrains and glistening lakes, or explore one of the numerous majestic sites dotted along the county including Criccieth Castle and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Harlech Castle.
