Bilsdale is in Cowesby. It's one cottage in a small group. They've all been done up recently. It's quiet, out in the fields. The view is just fields and sky.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Everything is on the ground floor, which is useful. The doorway is wheelchair accessible.
The place is open plan. Kitchen, living area, all together. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. You can sit out there and look at the view.
You're right at the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The walking is right from your door. Good for cycling too if you bring bikes. There's storage for them.
The nearest pub is about two miles away in Kepwick. The nearest shop is in Thirsk, which is six miles. Thirsk is a nice market town. There's a market twice a week. Lots of little shops and cafes. The racecourse is there. So is the James Herriot museum if that's your thing.
You can get to a lot of places from here. Helmsley and Pickering are to the east. The steam railway goes from Pickering. The Yorkshire Dales are to the west. York or the coast at Whitby are about an hour's drive.
For facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
