Bilsdale
Bilsdale is up near Cowesby. It's a cottage for two people. One bedroom with a bathroom attached to it.
The place has been done up to a high standard, a 4 Star. That means it's comfortable. It's all open plan downstairs. You've got a patio and a garden with a BBQ.
Outside, it's very quiet. You look out over open countryside. It's right at the edge of the North York Moors. You can walk or cycle straight from the door.
The nearest pub is about two miles away in Kepwick. The closest shop is six miles, in Thirsk. Thirsk is a nice little market town. It's got a cobbled square and some decent pubs. It's about a fifteen minute drive. The James Herriot museum is there if that's your thing.
For a day out, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway starts at Pickering. That's a good run out. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are on the coast, maybe forty-five minutes drive. York is under an hour away.
On site, there's parking. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The entrance and the main facilities are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.
