The Granary
The Granary is an apartment attached to our house. It's just for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. We're here if you need anything, but you have your own space and garden.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The main thing is the view from here, it's all open fields. We've put a hot tub in a little pine cabin in the garden so you can sit in it and look out, even when it's cooler.
We're in North Kilvington, just off the A168. It means you can get to places easily. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, and the Yorkshire Dales aren't far either.
It's good for cyclists. There's a bike store with a drying locker and a basic workstation if you need to fix something. You're on the route of the old Tour de Yorkshire. Boltby Bank and Sutton Bank are nearby if you want a challenge.
The Cleveland Way passes close by for walking. A nice easy local walk is around Cod Beck Reservoir, near Osmotherley. Thirsk is about three miles away. It's a proper market town with a cobbled square, pubs, and shops. There's a racecourse too.
Within half an hour you can drive to Helmsley, or to Mount Grace Priory. Northallerton is close for the train station and bigger shops. York is about 45 minutes one way, Whitby is about an hour the other.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
