The Granary North Kilvington

The Granary is an apartment next to our house in North Kilvington. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. No pets.

The main thing is the view. You look out over fields. There's a small private garden. In the garden there's a pine hut with a hot tub in it. You can close the doors if it's cold.

Inside, it's clean and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a desk area with some basic tools for adjusting bikes if you need to, and an outdoor hose to clean off muddy boots.

You're between two big national parks. The edge of the North York Moors is right there. The Yorkshire Dales are about a half hour drive west.

The location is good for getting around. You're near the A168, so it's easy to drive to Thirsk, Northallerton, or further. The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles.

It's a very popular area with cyclists. Boltby Bank and Sutton Bank are famous climbs nearby. The Cleveland Way walking path runs close by. For a gentle walk, Cod Beck Reservoir is nice. It's a couple of miles around.

Thirsk is about four miles away. It's a proper market town with a square, some old pubs, and cafes. Northallerton is about fifteen minutes by car. York is under an hour. The coast at Whitby takes about an hour to drive to.

Facilities: there's parking, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
