Railway Cottage Carlton Miniott

Railway Cottage is in Carlton Miniott. It's a stone-built semi, right next to the railway. You can hear the trains sometimes, but it's not constant. They're mostly during the day.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's clean and it works properly. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave some logs to get you started.

The kitchen's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a small garden out the back with a patio and a bit of lawn. Parking is on the driveway.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a fee for that.

Thirsk town centre is about a ten-minute walk. There's a market square with shops and pubs. The train station is very close, which is handy. You can get to York or Harrogate without driving.

For walks, you're right between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Both are about a half-hour drive. The coast at Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay is a bit further, maybe an hour and a half.

Local facilities are on the listing. Bedding and towels are included. The wifi usually works fine.
