Bellwood House Annexe

This is the Bellwood House Annexe. It's a brick-built, single-storey place attached to our house in Felixkirk. It's for two people.

It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. It’s all on one level. There's one bedroom with a small double bed and storage underneath. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower. Everything was renovated a few years ago.

The main thing is the garden. It's fully enclosed, so it's secure for dogs. You get your own bit of patio and garden with a nice view over the fields. There's also access to a bigger field if you want it. Parking for two cars is right next to it.

Felixkirk is a quiet village. There's a good pub about a five minute walk away that does food and allows dogs. The North York Moors National Park starts pretty much on the doorstep. You can walk or cycle straight out from the cottage.

Thirsk is three miles away. It's a proper market town with shops, a racecourse, and the James Herriot museum. For a day out, you can drive to places like Rievaulx Abbey or the market town of Helmsley. The coast at Whitby is about an hour away.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen area with a dishwasher and washing machine, a sitting area with a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got secure storage for bikes if you bring them.

We're around if you need anything or want advice on walks. We do a lot of walking and cycling ourselves.
