Wren Cottage is in Thirlby in North Yorkshire. I live next door in the main house. The cottage is detached and you have your own garden. It looks out over the cottage gardens we've got here, and there's a stream at the bottom.
It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's got a wood burner in an old inglenook fireplace.
There's a shepherd's hut in the garden too. It has a small bed in it, so you can sleep out there if you want. It's a bit different.
The village here is at the bottom of the Hambleton Hills. You can walk straight out from the doorstep. Gormire Lake is about a 30 minute walk away. Sutton Bank and the Cleveland Way are very close. North York Moors National Park is right there.
Thirsk is the nearest proper town, about five miles. It's got a good market, shops and places to eat. A pub in Felixkirk, about a mile and a half away, does food. The closest shop is in Thirsk.
For a day out, you've got Rievaulx Abbey and Fountains Abbey within about half an hour's drive. York is less than an hour away. The coast at Whitby is about an hour if you fancy fish and chips.
What's here: the cottage has its own parking, a washing machine, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
