Garden House is a detached cottage in Thimbleby, near Osmotherley. It's on the edge of the North York Moors.
The house sleeps four in two bedrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which translates to a high spec. Everything feels new and solid. The kitchen has a big range cooker. The main living area is open plan with a wood burner. Both bedrooms are big and each has its own bathroom. There is a third bathroom as well, which has a large circular copper bath in it.
The patio looks out over fields. You get a good view of the countryside.
Thimbleby itself is quiet. There's a pub, a shop, and a tea shop about a mile away in Osmotherley. The Osmotherley pubs do food. For walking, you're right by the North York Moors. There are trails from the door for walking and mountain biking. Cod Beck Reservoir is close by for a stroll.
Within half an hour you can get to a lot. Northallerton and Thirsk are nearby market towns. Helmsley is a bit further. Historic sites like Mount Grace Priory and Rievaulx Abbey are a short drive. The coast at Whitby or the Yorkshire Dales are about 45 minutes if you don't mind a bit of a drive.
For facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets.
