Garden House
This is Garden House in Thimbleby. It's a detached place, so no shared walls. You've got the garden and patio to yourself. The view from the patio is over fields. It's quiet.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are big and each has its own bathroom. There's another bathroom downstairs as well, so three in total. The rating is 5 Star. It's been done up to a high standard, things like a range cooker and quartz worktops. There's a wood burner in the living area.
The main thing people talk about is the spa room. It has a big circular copper bath. It's a bit different.
Thimbleby is right on the edge of the North York Moors. The village of Osmotherley is about a mile away. It has a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and a teashop. For walking, you're basically already in the National Park. Cod Beck Reservoir is nearby.
You're in a good spot for getting around. The market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton are close. Helmsley is a nice drive. For a big day out, York is about an hour's drive. The coast at Whitby is within reach too, maybe 45 minutes.
Some local sights if you're interested: Mount Grace Priory and North York Moors National Park.
