There is an abundance of walks in the area whether it’s along the sweeping, unspoilt beaches, with a beautiful, sandy beach 1½ miles away and a pebble beach just 50 yards, or through wooded trails and perhaps up to visit the former site of the historic Ormond Castle. The castle is believed to be a stronghold of William the Lion, King of Scots who reigned from 1165AD to 1214AD. From the castle you can enjoy the magnificent views of this area.
Amongst the many activities available are mountain biking, golf, water sports and sea trips, and you may have the pleasure of seeing some of the dolphins and seals which are regularly seen from the boat.
