Garden Cottage is tucked away in a large garden close to the centre of Inverness. It is a very comfortable, well looked after detached holiday cottage that offers the perfect base for a small family, friends or a couple. Lovely Inverness is on your doorstep. You’ll be strolling beside the fast flowing River Ness in a few minutes, and the castle is only five minutes’ walk away. There are many fantastic cafés, bars and restaurants to enjoy after days out exploring the local sights. Inverness is the gateway to the Highlands, and you can head off in every direction and discover a different side of the wildest part of Britain. To the north you have the NC500 to explore; the east there are sandy beaches at Rosemarkie and Nairn as well as the historic battlefield of Culloden, which Outlander fans will be interested to visit. to the south you have the mountains of the Cairngorms National Park, only thirty minutes’ drive away, and to the west mighty Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye and many other coastal wonders. All roads lead to Inverness, so if you want to explore the Highlands, staying at Garden Cottage is a truly excellent choice.
