Miss Mackintosh's Classroom

Miss Mackintosh’s Classroom has its own private entrance and hallway leading to a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, from which you can access a shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the crockery and utensils you will need for the chef of the group to cook a hearty meal. The lounge has a wide-screen TV and dolby speaker The feature spiral staircase takes you to a bright and airy upper landing giving access to one double and one twin bedroom and another bathroom. The decor throughout is bright and airy and all bed linen used is Egyptian cotton with light fluffy towels provided.
The Old School has been sympathetically converted into three wonderful holiday homes by the present owners. Since opening its doors to guests, this beautiful old building with its individually converted classrooms has become a favourite with both UK and international tourists, with many return visitors. Within the group of three holiday homes these stand on 4-acres and are surrounded by Scots Pine woodlands and open farmland, Miss Mackintosh’s Classroom at The Old School provides a truly peaceful setting within the scenic Cairngorms National Park.
Just a mile from the village of Carrbridge, and seven miles from both Aviemore and Grantown on Spey, this comfortably stylish and fully equipped holiday home provides the ideal base for exploring the Highlands and the Moray coast. The hot tub has views over the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains and is shared with the other two properties in The Old School. What better way to relax after enjoying the local attractions and activities or simply spend the day smoothing away the pressures of daily life? Beach 25 miles. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
