The Ben on the Loch is a beautifully presented lodge in a secluded woodlands setting overlooking Loch Ness, with amazing views of the loch and surrounding countryside. The lodge is located in Foyers, a small village on the outskirts of Inverness. Walking through the front door takes you into the open plan living area. The living area has comfy sofas, a Smart TV, board games and a selection of reading material, whilst the dining area has a patio door to the decking area. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with lots of cupboard space and ample appliances. You have two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with en-suite bathroom. The stairs take you to a huge galleried floor which houses a sitting room with amazing views of the loch and offers comfy sofas and chairs; perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring; the master bedroom is on this floor and has an en-suite bathroom. The furnishings throughout the property are impressive, and the rooms are complete with luxurious bedding and towels.
The village of Foyers is 20 miles from Inverness and 11 miles from the village of Dores, which has a restaurant and bar and a beach. Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and offers something for everyone, with four golf courses, one of which is Castle Stuart which has hosted the Scottish Open. You will find fishing in Loch Ness and River Ness, water sports, plenty of hills to climb, or for the less experienced, lots of amazing walks taking in the best scenery and nature. There is a trampoline park, Aquadome, cinema and Eden Court Theatre, a selection of local shops, cafés, restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
