The Steading
The Steading is a brilliant, large house for the entire family to gather in and enjoy. With four large bedrooms, three with en-suites and the other bedroom having a large family bathroom to itself, The Steading is a rare commodity offering so much space for the family.
The master bedroom has lots of space and has Freeview TV, sofa bed, two walk-in wardrobes and a large en-suite bathroom. Also, on the first floor there are two twin bedrooms and a large family bathroom. Finally, there’s a nice seating area on the first-floor landing which is perfect for those wanting to breakaway and read a book.
On the ground floor there are two living rooms. One is in a large open plan living space with a kitchen area and dining area. The kitchen area has everything you would want from a home, so you can rustle up all kinds of meals. The other living room serves as a great TV room. Also, on the ground floor there’s an en-suite double bedroom with access to the garden which leads to the hot tub. There’s also a utility room tucked away as well as a downstairs cloakroom and the enclosed garden is a great space.
This little hamlet of Tarbat Mains is a gem. Tucked away from the NC500, which is great for exploring the Northern Highlands, and only a short walk from the sea, the house is surrounded by mature trees and it strikes you upon arrival and during your stay how tranquil the spot is. It’s a lovely place for a holiday.
The surrounding area has so much to offer with Tain and Dornoch close by, also Glenmorangie Distilerry and Royal Dornoch Golf Club are calling those inclined for a dram or a round. There are stunning beaches within a few minutes’ drive over at Shandwick or Portmahomack or even Dornoch.
The Steading is an excellent holiday home for the whole family to gather at and explore this amazing part of the world from. Beach 8 miles.
