The Old Stables At Westerton

This is The Old Stables at Westerton. It's just outside Crieff, set back in its own bit of woodland. It's very quiet.

It's a one-bedroom cottage, sleeps two. Everything's on one level. You come in through the utility room, which is handy for boots and coats. From there it's one open-plan room with the kitchen, living area, and a table. The French doors open straight out to your own garden. It's a good size, private, with a proper table and chairs.

It used to be the estate stables, then a laundry. They've kept the stonework and the feel of the old building when they did it up. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The bathroom has a shower, no bath. The parking is right outside. The garden is fully enclosed, so it's fine for a dog. We allow one.

Crieff is about two miles away. There's a decent co-op for shopping, some good cafes, and a few nice places to eat. There's a deli if you want local cheese or meat. The nearest pub is about two miles as well.

If you want to get out, you're in a good spot for it. Loch Earn is about ten minutes drive for water sports. There's plenty of fishing locally. Golf is everywhere, including Gleneagles which is about twenty minutes away. For walking, you're right on the edge of the Highlands. Ben Vorlich and Ben Chonzie are both within half an hour if you're after a proper hill. The area's good for cycling too.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. All bedding and towels are included. It's all electric, and that's included in the price.
