Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is in Strowan, near Comrie in Perthshire. It’s detached and looks out over open fields and hills. The views are good, especially from the back.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It’s a 4 Star place, so it’s comfortable and well-kept. The living area is open plan with a wood burning stove. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The garden has a patio and a BBQ. There’s a stream at the bottom of it. You can sit out there with a drink. Parking is right there at the cottage.
You can bring one dog. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are in Comrie, about two miles away. It’s a quiet village with some good walks. For a longer trip, you’ve got castles like Blair Castle and gardens like Drummond Castle. The National Trust has a few sites around here too. If you like whisky, Glenturret Distillery is nearby.
For bigger days out, you can drive to Loch Lomond or into the hills. Glasgow and Edinburgh are about an hour away by car if you want a city day.
