Mill Cottage
Mill Cottage is in Strowan, near Comrie in Perthshire. It's a detached stone cottage, so no neighbours on either side. You've got your own garden with a little stream running through it. The view from the front is over fields and hills.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, so it's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Some of the doorways are a bit low, mind you.
Inside, it's open-plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking right outside.
You're a couple of miles from Comrie for a shop, pub, or a meal. The area is good for walking. There are a few set walks from the village itself. The National Trust for Scotland has lots of places nearby, like the Hermitage. For wider planning, Visit Scotland is useful.
Glenturret distillery is about ten minutes' drive. Crieff is maybe fifteen minutes, with Drummond Castle gardens. Stirling, with the castle, is under an hour. You can be in Glasgow or Edinburgh in about an hour if you fancy a city day.
You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
