Geordies Byre Comrie

Geordies Byre is here in Comrie, in Perthshire. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on the ground floor. It's semi-detached, but you've got your own enclosed garden. The view from the garden is out over farmland. It's quiet.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely, it's comfortable. There's a wood burning stove for the colder evenings.

You're about three miles from Comrie village itself. It's a nice little place with a few shops and places to eat. For a bigger shop, Crieff is about eight miles away.

The area is good for walking. You can drive into the hills or just set off from the door. There are lots of golf courses around, including Gleneagles which is about half an hour away.

If you want to go further, places like Loch Lomond and The Trossachs are within about forty minutes. Stirling is under an hour. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both just over an hour's drive, if you fancied a day trip to a city.

Practical things: it's all on one level. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
