Geordie's Byre
Geordie's Byre is near Comrie, in Perthshire. It’s a single-storey cottage, which means no stairs. It’s attached to one other property, but you have your own enclosed garden and patio. The view is out over farmland.
It’s for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's well put together and comfortable, but it’s not a hotel. The wood burner works well.
Comrie village is about three miles away. It has a couple of shops, a pharmacy, and several places to eat. The White Church is good for coffee.
You’re right in the middle of walking and cycling country. The hills around here are proper walking hills, so come prepared. There are several golf courses nearby, including Gleneagles which is about a 20 minute drive.
For days out, Drummond Castle Gardens are close. Stirling is less than an hour’s drive, Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hour. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is about 45 minutes.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
