Westburn

This is Westburn, our bungalow in Comrie. It's detached and set just back from the road. You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes.

The house sleeps six people comfortably, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It got a 4 Star rating after a refurbishment in 2019. The garden is fully enclosed.

We've tried to make it practical for families. There's a travel cot, highchair, bed guard, that sort of thing. The kitchen cupboards at a child's height have safety locks.

Comrie is a lovely village. You've got a proper butcher, baker, and greengrocer on the high street, plus a couple of cafes and hotels with restaurants. The pub is about 900 yards away. There are good walks straight from the door along the River Earn, or you can drive a few minutes to the Deil's Cauldron gorge.

Loch Earn is about six miles up the road for sailing. There's a golf course here, and fishing. Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is nearby for a day out.

Inside, you'll find a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right at the house.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is secure for them.

For planning trips further afield, National Trust for Scotland Perthshire and Cairngorms National Park are useful sites. Both are within a half hour to forty-five minute drive.
