Westburn is a detached bungalow in Comrie. It's a five minute walk into the village centre.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's useful if you've got a few people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was refurbished a few years ago, so it's in good order.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's a summerhouse out there too. You can park on the driveway.
Inside, it's all on one level which makes it easy. They've thought about families with young children. There's a cot, highchair, bed guard, that sort of thing. Low cupboards have child locks on. The owners have left a steriliser and a blender, which you might find handy.
Comrie has what you need: a butcher, baker, small supermarket, a couple of cafes and hotels that do food. The local pub is about 900 yards away.
You can walk straight from the door. Paths go along the River Earn or out into the countryside. For a more dramatic walk, the Deil’s Cauldron is a gorge where the river comes through. Loch Earn is about six miles away if you want to be on the water.
If you're driving out, National Trust for Scotland has places like the Hermitage nearby. Stirling Castle and Scone Palace are within half an hour. For a family day, Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is a short drive.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
