Riversdale Cottage
Riversdale Cottage is a detached house in St Fillans. It's just outside the village proper, about a mile from the shop and hotels. You can hear the river from the garden.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and one shower room. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. Everything is modern, clean, and works. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The garden is a proper sun trap when the weather's good. There's a seating area out there. You can see red squirrels sometimes, and the odd deer passes through.
St Fillans is small. There's a village shop, a coffee shop, and a couple of hotels that serve meals. Loch Earn is a five minute walk away. You can hire boats there or just go for a walk along the shore.
The local nine-hole golf course is right next door. It's a good one. For walking, you're in the middle of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The path along the loch is flat and easy. The path towards Comrie is more of a proper cycle route.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Killin and the Falls of Dochart. Callander has more shops and places to eat. There's a wildlife centre near Comrie if you've got kids with you.
Everything you need is here: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
