Sheeoch

Sheeoch is our bungalow in Comrie. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. You can walk into the village centre in about ten minutes. It's all on one floor, which some people prefer.

It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. The garden at the back is enclosed, so it's safe if you're bringing a dog. The living room is big and has a good view over the fields. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area.

Comrie has a couple of shops, a few places to eat, and a pub. The golf course is nice, even if you're not serious about it. The River Earn is right there for a stroll. For a bigger bit of water, Loch Earn is about ten minutes' drive. You can sail there.

If you like walking, you're in a good spot. There are plenty of low-level paths right from the door. For the serious hills, there are lots of Munros within an hour's drive. Stirling, with the castle, is about half an hour away. Perth is a bit further. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both doable for a day trip, but it's over an hour.

It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good order. Facilities are pretty standard: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can take one well-behaved dog.
