Rathlin Coach House
Rathlin Coach House is in Comrie, Perthshire. It's detached and in the grounds of the main house, but you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed which is good if you've got kids. There's a gate at the bottom that leads straight to the River Earn.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a conversion from the 1890s, so the rooms feel solid. It's comfortable.
You're about a minute's walk from the centre of Comrie. It's a nice village. There's a baker, a butcher, a few places to eat and drink. Everything you need is there. If you need a big supermarket, Crieff is six miles away.
The river is right there. You can fish from the garden if you have a permit. For walks, you can start from the door. There's a nine-hole golf course in the village. The big Gleneagles courses are about twenty minutes by car.
St Fillans, which is up the road, does watersports. For a day out, Loch Earn is close. You can drive into the Highlands very easily from here.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. If you have an electric car, there are two charging points in the car park opposite.
