Arden House

Arden House is in Comrie, Perthshire. It's a semi-detached cottage from the 1820s. Sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

It's a 4 Star place. We had it refurbished in 2021. It's comfortable, not minimalist. The living room is big and that's where everyone ends up. The stairs are normal. The kitchen does the job.

Out the back door there's a small courtyard with a table and a BBQ. It gets the sun in the evening.

You're right in the village. The pub, a couple of cafes, and a few places to eat are a two-minute walk. There's a good butcher, a greengrocer, and a small supermarket if you're cooking.

For walking, you can start right from the front door. The river path is nice. If you drive, you're close to a lot. Crieff is about seven miles away. It has shops and the Glenturret Distillery. Stirling and Perth are about half an hour's drive.

There's a 9-hole golf course in the village. Gleneagles is about a 20-minute drive if you want that. For something different, Drummond Castle gardens are about 15 minutes away.

Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
