Arden House is a three bedroom house in Comrie, Perthshire. It sleeps six. It's rated four stars.
The house is from the 1820s. It's been refurbished recently so it's comfortable, but it's not a new build. It's got its original features. The stairs are steep, that's just how it is.
You've got a living room, dining room, and a kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opens to a small courtyard with a table and a BBQ. Upstairs there are three bedrooms: one king, one double, and one twin. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The village is good. There's a pub, cafes, and restaurants all a few minutes walk away. There's a proper butcher, a greengrocer, and a small supermarket if you're cooking. Some good walks start right from the door.
Comrie is about seven miles from Crieff. Crieff has a whisky distillery you can visit. Stirling and Perth are both about 25 miles away if you need bigger shops or a train station. Gleneagles is close if you're a golfer.
For days out, you've got Drummond Castle Gardens nearby. For wider planning, the National Trust for Scotland site is useful.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
