Ruby's Cottage is in Crieff. It's detached, set back a bit on a quiet lane at the entrance to the farm. You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's a master bedroom downstairs with its own shower room, and then two more bedrooms upstairs sharing the family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.
The main living space is open plan. There's a wood burner, which is nice on cooler evenings. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've brought the dog, or just for sitting out. You get the garden to yourselves.
Crieff is a proper town, so you've got shops, pubs, and places to eat all within walking distance. There's a good deli for local stuff if you're cooking in.
For getting outside, you can walk along the River Earn right from the door. For bigger walks, Ben Chonzie is just to the north. Loch Earn is about ten minutes' drive for watersports. If you're here for the Outlander filming locations, Drummond Castle Gardens are very close, and Doune Castle is about a twenty-five minute drive.
The facilities are pretty complete: WiFi, parking, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a highchair if you need one.
