Major's Lodge
Major's Lodge is in Muthill, Perthshire. It's a small, insulated cabin set in woodland. It's for two adults only.
The cabin has one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's very well finished, but it's still a cabin in the woods. It's quiet and private.
There's a wood-fired hot tub on the patio. It's set up for you when you arrive. The water comes from a local spring. The lighting is all low energy.
Deer and pheasants come through the site. They're wild, so they'll move off if you make noise. It's their space too.
Muthill village is a short walk away. There's a local pub. Crieff is about four miles. That's where you'll find most of the shops, cafes, and restaurants.
You're well placed for getting out. Stirling Castle and the Trossachs are within half an hour's drive. Perth is about half an hour as well. For longer trips, Glencoe and the Cairngorms are both within about an hour and a half.
Facilities include WiFi, on-site parking, bed linen and towels, and a BBQ. There's a small shop on the site for essentials. No pets.
