Rossie Cottage
Rossie Cottage is on a side street just off the high street in Auchterarder. It’s a semi-detached cottage, so there's a neighbour on one side. You get your own garden out the back, it’s enclosed.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms – a double and a twin. There’s one bathroom with a shower. Everything is on the same level, no stairs inside. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The high street is a couple of minutes' walk away. It's got cafes, a butcher, a bakery, and a few pubs that do food. The shop is about 200 yards away. There's a new park with a pump track for bikes, about ten minutes' walk up the road.
If you’re here for golf, Auchterarder’s own course is nearby. The Gleneagles Hotel courses are just outside town.
For a day out, Stirling is about half an hour’s drive. You’ve got the castle and the Wallace Monument there. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is also around 30 minutes away for walking or driving through. The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park website is good for planning.
Crieff and Perth are a short drive. Blair Drummond Safari Park is popular if you’ve got children. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both just over an hour by car if you want a city day.
In the cottage you’ve got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
