Spiers Lodge
Spiers Lodge is a cabin near Muthill, in Perthshire. It's for two adults only. It's set back in the trees, up a path from the car park.
The cabin is insulated and well built, so it's warm. It's got one bedroom and a shower room. The rating is 5 Star, which means everything is new and finished to a high standard. The furniture and things inside were mostly made by people round here.
Outside, there's a private deck with a barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub will be ready to light when you arrive. The view from there looks out over the estate towards the hills. They light up Crieff Hydro, which is a big hotel that looks a bit like a castle, at night.
It's a quiet spot in the woods. You'll see pheasants about. If you're still, deer sometimes come through. It's their space really, so loud noises will scare them off.
The village of Muthill is a short walk away. There's a shop and a pub there. Crieff is about four miles drive. It's a proper town with supermarkets, places to eat, and some interesting shops. You can get most things you need there.
For a day out, you're about half an hour from places like Stirling Castle or the town of Dunkeld. The Highlands start not far north of here. If you like walking, there's plenty of it, from forest tracks to proper hills.
Everything is included: bedding, towels, electricity, and wifi. There's parking right by the site entrance. No pets.
