Spiers Lodge
Spiers Lodge is a cabin for two, up near Muthill in Perthshire. It's adults-only. It's got a 5 Star rating, which reflects the fittings and finish.
It's a glamping cabin, insulated and properly built, tucked into the trees. You get one bedroom and a shower room. There's a wood-fired hot tub on the deck, which we'll have set up for you before you arrive. The deck looks out towards a castle on the estate, which is lit up at night.
Because it's in the woods, you'll see wildlife. Deer and pheasants are around. It's quiet, so they're not easily spooked.
The village of Muthill is a short walk away. It's got a shop and a couple of places to eat. The town of Crieff is about four miles drive. It's got proper shops, cafes, and a few restaurants.
For things to do, you're well placed. The Sma' Glen is nearby for walks. Glen Coe and The Hermitage are within an hour's drive. Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond are also about 45 minutes to an hour away.
Facilities include the hot tub, WiFi, bedding and towels, off-road parking, and a BBQ. No pets. The cabin runs on low-energy lighting and spring water.
