The Hoolit

The Hoolit is a bungalow in Crieff. It's on a quiet street and looks out over fields towards a hill called Calliums. You're about a ten minute walk from the town centre.

It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The shower is good, a proper walk-in one.

The main thing is the hot tub. It's private, under a covered roof so you can use it in any weather. We see deer and birds in the field quite often from there.

In Crieff, you've got the usual shops, a Co-op, and some decent pubs and restaurants. The Glenturret whisky distillery is just outside town if you want a tour. For walking, you can follow the River Earn or go up into the hills straight from the door.

Within about half an hour's drive, you can get to Loch Earn for water sports, or up Ben Chonzie for a proper hill walk. Stirling is about 40 minutes away for the castle and the monument. Perth is a bit closer, maybe 25 minutes, for a bigger town with shops and the theatre.

Further out, but still doable for a day trip, you've got Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park or even up towards Pitlochry.

Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, WiFi, TV, an electric vehicle charger, and parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
