So Daisybank Cottage is in Gilmerton, near Crieff. It's a little single storey place that backs onto fields, so it's quiet. The view from the living room is just fields and hills. The lane down to it is a bit bumpy, just so you know.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a three star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not posh.
The living area is all one room, with a wood burner. The kitchen's off that, and it's fine for cooking. There's a table to eat at. Outside, there's a patio and then the garden slopes away. There are a few steps down from the patio to the garden, so watch your footing.
You're about four minutes by car from Crieff. It's a handy town with shops, a co-op, cafes and a few places to eat. The Hydro there has loads of activities if that's your thing.
From here, you're well placed for getting out. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs are about half an hour's drive. Stirling, for the castle and things, is about 40 minutes. Perth is maybe 25 minutes. Glenturret Distillery is on the edge of Crieff if you fancy a tour.
As for what's here, it's all listed. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
For planning days out, the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park site is useful, and Historic Environment Scotland for stuff like Stirling Castle.
