Mitford Lodge is in Wye, Kent. It's a converted garage block, so it's detached. It's small, sleeps two people.
It's got a three star rating. That means it's simple and clean. It does the job.
Downstairs is the kitchen and a small dining area. There's a utility cupboard with a washing machine. Upstairs is the sitting room, the double bedroom, and the bathroom. The stairs are typical for a conversion, so quite steep and narrow.
The sitting room looks out over the park. It's a nice view, green. You don't have much garden of your own, just a little spot outside the door to sit. But the park is right there. It's a big park with paths that lead into the fields.
The owner pays for the tennis club in the park, so you can use the courts. The code is in the lodge.
Wye village is good. There's a pub, The King's Head, and a restaurant called The Wife of Bath. There are a few local shops. You can walk to everything.
You can walk into the countryside from the park. If you drive, Canterbury is about fifteen minutes. Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel are about twenty minutes. The coast at Hythe is maybe half an hour.
For things to do, National Trust South East has places like Dover's White Cliffs. English Heritage South East covers castles like Dover Castle.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking for one car, bedding and towels are there. No pets. All the electric is included.
